Debbie Look

Debbie Look is a registered musculoskeletal physiotherapist and sports physiotherapist in Australia. She graduated as a physiotherapist from Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1991 and attained her first master degree in manipulative physiotherapy at Curtin University in 1998 and second master degree in sports physiotherapy at University of Queensland in 2002.  She has also gained vast experience working in public setting before 1997 and private clinical setting after 1998.   Debbie was also the Sport Medicine and Physiotherapy Service Coordinator at Hong Kong Sports Institute before she left on 2008.    Debbie was also appointed as Hong Kong Medical Team Delegate for major games and international competitions including Doha Asian Games 2006, Beijing Olympic Games 2008, East Asian Games 2009 and GuangZhou Asian Games 2010.  The professional qualification and experience in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy area has made her to be a clinical educator for undergraduates and postgraduates physiotherapy program of Hong Kong Polytechnic University since 2000.

 

In the year of 2014, Debbie has enriched her professional knowledge and clinical skills in the area of Continence and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation by taking a Postgraduate Certificate Course at University Of Melbourne as part time basis.  She is now also working in pelvic Floor rehabilitation, she has interested in treating on stress/urge/mixed incontinence, coccyx pain and pelvic organ prolapse.  

 

Debbie understands well about the importance of clinical diagnosis together with skillful manual techniques and therapeutic exercise base approach can help the patient to ease the pain and manage the dysfunction. She has interested in the area on management of neck and back pain, lower limb biomechanics, shoulder and ankle pain, and pelvic floor rehabilitation. She aims to put all her knowledge and experience in treating every patient with whole heart and guides the patient to have the best holistic clinical service in Hong Kong, as such, Debbie and her partner Phoebe Cheuk and Roy Chan has opened PhysioTune Physiotherapy and Sports Rehabilitation Centre in Central at 2014.  We aim to provide you not just a place to take care your physical problems but also a place in caring your health and well being.
